As the title above suggests, the hyperbole over the government's decision to offer free contraception to beneficiaries isa not restricted to Sue Bradford; check out what we've just spotted on Twitter:
Clare Curran
@clarecurranmp
Forcing solo mums onto birth control, closing down TVNZ7 because it's too interesting#thenewPC

Where is the lie? I see two statements. She accuses no one of anything. You've jumped to a ridonkulous conclusion and labelled someone a liar when it seems you are in fact the liar. Poor debating skills INV666.
The lie is pretty obvious, I would have thought. Unless, of course, you're too blinded by loyalty to see it.
Where is the lie?
Why, here it is:
...@clarecurranmp Forcing solo mums onto birth control,...
And here is the fact:
Women on benefits - including teenagers and the daughters of beneficiaries - will be offered free long-term contraception as part of a $287.5 million Budget package for the Government's welfare reforms.

Ridonkulous!
Oh how that fits!
Wear it with pride, KS.
Well I suppose in her world she was 'forced' to be very close to Trevor Mallard.
I can't see the lie either.
No accusation in the tweet, just a random statement.
It's you who have decided it's lie.
Curran said forced .. a lie. Bradford OUTRAGED over the disgraceful attempt to reduce future left wing voters but Ardern wants all woman to have free contraception .. gee.
Maybe Jacenda and Clare should talk to each other
I agree anon and Keiran, Ciaron (the dark one)
She said forced, but by whom? She said mothers but which mothers?
Others purport to know and therefore determine the tweet is lie.
I could tweet 'He knew all about the blind trust' and could be referring to anyone or any trust.
I'm boycotting this site, it's gone rightie rabid these days!!
Ar revoir
and good night.
"I could tweet 'He knew all about the blind trust' and could be referring to anyone or any trust."
Don't bother arguing semantics with these lefty loons, it seems to be a complete substitute for their lives and only encourages them.
Bare faced lies is a little harsh, what is strange is the inclusion of the TVNZ7 aspect. I don't see the connection
Since when was supporting big GOVERNMENT and the growth of bureaucracy something of the right anon?
Your just pissed because National is out Labouring Labour.
Closing TVNZ7 is something that the government has signalled IS going to happen IH. That's why Curran is being deceitful by linking that to a policy which has never been suggested. "Forcing solo mums onto birth control" is something that only exists in Clare Currans imagination, which is why I called her on it. Even Sue Bradford hasn't gone that far!
This site is ridonkulous.
So, the government is pushing ahead with the Welfare Working Group's recommendation for creepy eugenics, in the form of providing free contaception to women on benefits. Contraception is a great thing - it lets people control their own fertility, and enables them to make choices about their own lives, rather than being slaves to biology. Making it freely available to all, in whatever form works best for them, would be a significant advance for human freedom. But that's not what the government is planning. Instead, they're making it freely available to some, in a form which will limit their fertility for prolonged periods, in the very specific hope that they will use it. This isn't about enabling choice - its about constraining it.
Yeah well, Ciaron thinks that Breivik had the right idea, just the wrong target, so the fact that you have a freak like him on here fully supporting the government's actions says a lot about the tory mindset.
Ciaron has never made that accusation here Judge, and I don't visit that other blog which you are so wont to quote from. You've started one flame war here on Brevik; I'd rather that mentally ill specimen was not discussed.
I'll qualify Judge's statement.
I am begining to think that all politicians (and I do mean ALL) deserve to be shot.
From Wiki:
Judge Holden in Blood MeridianA fictionalized Holden is a central figure in Cormac McCarthy's novel Blood Meridian. In the novel, he and Glanton are the leaders of a pack of nomadic criminals who rob, rape, and kill across the border between Texas and Mexico. He is described as seven feet tall and completely bereft of body hair. One study of the novel reports that Holden is "unscrupulous, violent, and more than a little spooky." [2] Throughout the novel, he murders scores of people, including children.
and he calls me sick????
Don't rise to the bait Ciaron.
Comments for this thread are now closed; I don't want another Judge Holden-initiated flame war.
