Iti and Kemara have just been sentenced in the High Court at Auckland to two-and-a-half years' imprisonment. The sentencing of Signer and Bailey has been adjourned for the preparation of home detention reports.

My take on this is that the Judge has been injudicious with his summation and has revealed a less than 'blind' approach to justice. The sentences will be appealed and the terms reduced significantly.
