Some Internet Laws You May Have Missed - Updated

Most people know about about Godwin's Law. In short (quoting Wikipedia), this adage states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."

Here are a few other internet forum laws with particular relevance to the New Zealand scene.

Now because Scott's a lawyer, and because he has expertise in Intellectual Property, and because we don't want to be on the wrong end of a lawyer's letter, we won't plagarise any of his Internet Laws. We simply suggest that you go over to Imperator Fish, and have a read for yourself.

We will make one suggestion however; if you've got a cup of tea or coffee in hand, put it down first, because hot drinks and keyboards don't mix when mirth is added to the mixture!
