The Herald headline says it all:
Has defeat been conceded in the battle over asset sales? Surely, a little bit of rain wasn't enough to stop the protesters turning out, when they knew that they would get wall-to-wall media coverage if they put on even a half-decent protest.
But no; the protesters voted with their feet and stayed home yesterday. Clearly, they don't make protesters like they used to.

no they won't admit defeat at all .. some people, Minto and Bradforf for example, do this for a living so if they didn't protest, what would they do?
