Toni Street from TVNZ suggests that the organisers of the London Lympics might be quite literally taking short cuts; on beds:

The New Zealand men's and women's basketball teams might be glad, in hindsight, that they haven't qualified for London. 

And we doubt that the USA's Dream Team (v2012) will be having especially sweet dreams when some of them will overhang their beds by more than a foot!
