O for Oarsome; that's Gold!

Yes! New Zealand wins its first gold medal at the London Olympics. Scullers and two-times world champions Nathan Cohen and Joseph Sullivan have triumphed in the final of the men's double sculls.

Down by 3.4 seconds at the half-way mark Cohen and Sullivan produced their trademark sprint finish to power home to a richly deserved victory ahead of Italy and Slovenia.

It was a stunning row from the New Zealand pair; world champions and now Olympic Champions. We salute them!
