We've enjoyed a brief getaway to Hawke's Bay. We had a wee delivery to do, so we decided to do it yesterday, and make an abbreviated weekend of it.
We'll head home later in the day, but not before we've had something to eat, and a coffee or two along the way. It's a glorious spring day, and it's nice to be out and about making the most of the great weather.
Normal service may resume tonight, or it may resume tomorrow morning, depending on how we feel, and how many times we stop for a coffee or a bite to eat on the way home. Have fun until then!

Inv - a brief getaway to Hawkes Bay is what you mean. Of course you could mean the Hawkes Bay Province but there is no such place as `the Hawkes Bay'.

Hawke's Bay is the best place in the world... A suggestion for next time you're here, a visit to the Farmers' market on a Sunday morning is a real visual and culinary experience :-)
Oddly enough Duncan, a trip to the Farmers' Market was mentioned, but by the time we had brunched, it was time to hit the road. We will make time for it next time though.
