Fair enough too...

Newstalk ZB reports:

Organisers of the Santa parade at Glenn Innes in Auckland today, are explaining why they've banned a protest group's float.
Tamaki Housing Group have been told they're not welcome.
Organiser Gary Holmes says the whole idea of the carnival and parade is to celebrate different cultural groups, and Tamaki Housing Group didn't fit.
"Had any political party (wanted) to be part of it, we would have had to say no to them as well. So it wasn't because it was the Tamaki Housing Group and their particular message. It was because the parade itself is designed for the celebration of the cultural and ethnic groups."
Mr Holmes says organisers have told the group they are welcome to hand out flyers at the parade.
A spokeswoman for the group says it'll be a grim Christmas for many families, with the threat of eviction hanging over their heads.

We couldn't agree more with Gary Holmes on this. Christmas parades are a day for children, and political protest has no place.

The Left may wish to eat, sleep and drink politics. But let's leave Christmas out of it.
