Homeward bound

It's been an early start this morning, but that's the price we have to pay for a brief sojourn before we start a busy run-in to Christmas.

We've had a blast at our island location and it's been very therapeutic. But now it's back to real life. No sooner do we arrive in Auckland early this afternoon than we head off to the Bay of Plenty for a farewell function tonight and an important business meeting tomorrow morning. Only then will we be heading home.

A longer break would have been great, but it wasn't to be so we're grateful for small mercies. We're refreshed and energised, and we're going to need to be; there's a lot to do between now and the time the big bloke in the red suit swings by.

All going well we'll have an internet connection tonight, so some form of blogging my ensue as we catch up on whatever's been going on. Stay tuned!
