Our brief respite from the routines of life ended when our plane touched down in Auckland on Wednesday afternoon. We spent yesterday in meetings in the Bay of Plenty, then drove home, having to take a diversion around the truck crash site on the Desert Road.
It's great to be home, but now work awaits. We will shortly head down to the office, and discover what has accumulated in our absence. It shouldn't be too bad; we have recruited well in the last year especially, and the team can put out most fires.
And just so that all work and no play doesn't make us a dull blogger, we'll have a look at some of the significant events that have taken place in the last week and do some retrospectives. Work however will be our main priority.
Going back to work on a Friday does have an up-side though. We could become quite attached to one-day weeks!
