Will she stay for the weekend?

We've just read that Helen Clark is delivering a speech in Dunedin this Wednesday.

Given that she is such a supporter of the Monarchy, no doubt Miss Clark will be catching up with HRH Prince Charles and his good lady wife Camilla. She may even be bringing 64th birthday greetings to Prince Charles from the good folk at the United Nations.

So not surprisingly, we're wondering if Miss Clark is planning to stay around for the weekend, and pay a morale-boosting visit to the Labour Party conference at Ellerslie Racecourse in Auckland. We note that on Friday night there is a keynote speech not yet allocated:

Perhaps Helen Clark is going to fill that spot. If nothing else, it would explain the flurry of activity around the Labour-aligned traps over the last few days.

How much is it costing us tax-payers to have the Royals visit New Zealand?

probably less than it cost us to get Helen Clarke into the United Nations and a pittance compared to what Chris Carter has cost us ....

Why didn't I think of that comeback Kenny? Well done!

So...a lot, Kenny?
Is that what you are getting at?
Why don't they pay their own costs, I wonder?
It's not as though they're on the bones of their arses, is it.

It is nice to have Helen back in the country.
Now and again a sharp reminder of the past is worthwhile.
The reoccurrence of the nightmares are small price to pay.

The cow should be locked up and the key thrown away. The damage that she did to the economy and the social fabric of society in NZ because of her twisted views on life will take many years to repair. Her's is a legacy that will go down as the worst 9 years of NZ governance that the country has ever known. 9 years of wasted opportunity and fiscal incompetence is all that can be said of the Clark years of government.

One most certainly cannot disagree with Allan

"The cow"?
Allowing abusive comments now, KS?

Thanks for that Hemi; I missed that comment

Lofty; that's a step too far.

That's Lofty's second warning, I note.
How many chances does he get?
You send Edward packing for less.

Gee and I didnt even say it....but I agree with Allans sentiment.

But hey I will take the shot, big shoulders and all.

Take two weeks Lofty and consider your future.

Interestingly enough line judge, I consider my future everyday, and it looks good so long as us voters (you & me eh Judge) ;) can keep the commies aka watermelons aka green party from getting their disengenuous mitts on the levers of power.
I would love to take 2 weeks off Judgy old son, but what with running a business and providing real employment for our staff, and then also having to keep an eye on you lot of fibbers, well I really cannot afford to take the holiday, but thanks for the kind offer.
