There's good news on the horizon for those of us hanging out to buy a jar of Black Gold; this, from Facebook:
That's great to hear. Our last remaining jar of Marmite is looking pretty folorn and empty, and only severe rationing has seen it last even this long. It's sad to walk down the aisle at the local Countdown where the spreads are displayed, and see the yellow lids of that other stuff where there should be red and black! Marmageddon is yet to affect our taste buds, but it's touch and go!
Love it or loathe it, Marmite is a New Zealand institution. The sooner it is freely available again, the better.
