There goes that plan

We had visitors stay overnight, so we didn't get up to watch the All Blacks end their first season under Steve Hansen. We MySkyed the match, and the plan was to watch it over a cooked breakfast this morning.

However we've just seen that a resurgent England side whipped the All Blacks at Twickenham by 38 to 21, playing the world champions at their own game, only better. Well done England; if you had to beat us, at least it was done playing attractive rugby.

Whether the visitors will still want to watch the game when they arise shortly is anyone's guess. But the bacon, the eggs and the hashbrowns are still waiting to be thrown in the frying pan, so all is not lost!

A comprehensive win by England who outplayed the All Blacks in almost all areas of the game. Only Read, Whitelock Retallich and Jane played anywhere near as All Blacks should.

England had more desire, greater skill on the day and were well worth their win.
