The Black Caps will shortly begin a two test series in South Africa. Simon Doull has posted this magnificent photo from Newlands in Cape Town on Twitter:
Much as we would prefer Ross Taylor to be leading New Zealand into battle, we wish the Black Caps the very best for the match and the series. And we thank Simon Doull for the memories he has provided of our past trips to Cape Town, dominated as it is by the majestic Table Mountain.

As you can see from just one day's test cricket, the problem really was Taylor. It's great that he's been completely alienated by the coach and is not there.
Do you think there will be a parade in Hesson's honour when the team returns? It would be good to thank him personally for his contribution to New Zealand cricket.
