Well done Russel

It's not often that we praise Russel Norman, but today is one of those days. At the start of proceedings in the House this afternoon, he sought leave to move a motion without debate; check this out, courtesy of In the House:

There were of course political considerations at play here, although interestingly, no-one objected to leave being given to Dr Norman.  His motion denounced discrimination on the grounds of ethnicity or religious belief. Given yesterday's events, it was a timely intervention by Russel Norman.

It does make you wonder though; how could a coalition EVER be cobbled together that included both the Greens and NZ First? And all the while, Russel Norman looks far more assured as the leading opposition politician than any Labour member.

Posturing and sheer hypocrisy,

He's very good indeed.
Why, you must wonder, is John Key keeping the door open to Winston and NZFirst, after this debacle? A National/NZ1st coalition would be an ugly thing.

You know that you've made yourself unwelcome here Robert. Please stay away.

What about the discrimination in favour of Pacific Islanders and part-Maoris giving them all kinds of things specially for them, Norman?

Ummm Bobby.....good job, you are as duplicitous as your "leader"

His little speech in the house is worth diddly squat!

He is a filthy commie liar same as the rest of you watermelons.

Prosser is a tosser, you and yours though are liars and potential thieves.

Come now Lofty, Prosser was just saying what you're thinking. You're just upset with him because it sounds so stupid when uttered out loud. Let's just admit that and move on eh?

Norman is still an economic cretin, a communist under the guise of Green Politics and a very dangerous person. Any Govt with him involved in would destroy NZ economically and wrought havoc on the social fabric of the country. I simply do not understand why the press give him oxygen. He comes out with all of these utterances espousing the way things should be done and the MSM never question or query how this will be achieved. God help us all should the watermelon party ever get anywhere near the halls of power.

Stop shrieking Al. It's really unattractive. By the way, there's a filthy commie under your bed. Go get 'em Tiger.

Up yours confessor your head is so far up your arse you will never see the sun shine again. You only have to look at Norman's rantings to see his political leanings. They are so obvious it is not even funny. Just get a life you left wing dickhead.

Norman's political leanings, Allan?
No secret. Green. And your next Prime Minister.

Edward the Confessor said...

Thanks for the erudite and reasoned analysis Al. You're demonstrating nicely why the far right is so respected. Found that commie yet Tiger?

Lofty said...

Ed the head...don't presume to know what I should or should not admit to mate.
I do not do it to you so please show me the same respect, you dirty little commie bastard.

I think both Judith Collins and Russel Norman have stated similar things and I am pleased that there is consistency across the house in affirming what is morally right.

Prosser was asked on Nine to Noon if he would have recommended all European males be banned from flying when the IRA was a force. His statement has brought embarrassment and shame to our Government and country and I cannot understand why he hasn't resigned and why New Zealand First hasn't asked for his resignation.

I do find it interesting that every time a Green stands up for human rights or the environment, the likes of Lofty leap up and spray abuse around. "Watermelons, Communists, liars and thieves", he cries.

Good grief!

Also, any magazine that willingly prints such nonsense should reconsider their editorial bottom lines.

I have been around the traps a long time sprout, and I understand how smoke & mirrors work.

The tactics of the watermelon party are no different from any other communist party tactics, win the hearts and minds and then the power seats, and we all know the end play dont we.

The end game? Yes, we all know what's coming, Russel and Metiria sharing the Leadership of the country, Key sent back to his gated Hawaiin home to count his shekels, National whimpering on the Opposition benches and a Green future (the only future) for us all. I'll be posting you a bouquet, Lofty, mung-bean sprouts, to go with your meal of crow.

Lofty said...

mmmm crow...good protein, I will have it along side my roasted Kereru. Nice.

But if you dont mind I will pass on the mung beans, which I rate alongside lentils.

Oh and I do not deny that the watermelons could make the government with the Labour party etc, it scares the living shite out of me and I am filled with sadness for our wee country if it were to occur. But I am nothing if not a pragmatist.

Your tactic of catering for the lowest common denominators and entitlists must pay some dividends I suppose.

Sheeple will always vote for handouts and other peoples money. Greed is like that eh!

Certainly worked for National at the last two elections. Tax cuts for those who vote for me! I'll toss out those user-pays charges for industry and agriculture! Vote for King Averice and the Greedy Party!

How ever you see it toffee, me I am happy for the engine room of this country i.e. small to medium business get breaks to allow for expansion to create wealth and jobs. Hell I part own 2 of em and we pay ourselves modestly, in the hope that the risks we are taking create even more wealth for the country, jobs for the citizens and meals on the table.
Hit me too hard and I will fold, simple as that, you cannot have your cake and eat it too toffee, not all employers and business owners are satan personified.
But, I will bet you a dollar to a pinch of organic goat pooh, that the policies expoused by the watermelons, Mana, & Labour e.g. envy taxes etc, will drive business out of NZ.
No business...no handouts..simple really.

Hey hey As soon as the commies get called to account they adopt the age old tactic and following the party line of do not engage when it looks like our lies and deceit will be exposed...dive for cover, keep ya head down comrades, and wait for the filthy capitalist to go away.
