Idiot/Savant from No Right Turn makes the definitive assessment of the Auditor-General's report into her investigation of Shane Jones.
You can read the full Auditor-General's report here. Shane Jones has been cleared of any unlawful act, but the process by which his decision was both made and communicated has attracted the A-G's criticism. Idiot/Savant describes Jones as Not corrupt, just incompetent, and over at Kiwiblog, DPF has highlighted some of the criticism against Jones, including the finding that he acted "too hastily", and the manner in which a highly contentious decision was communicated to Mr Liu before Internal Affairs officials were notified.
Despite these findings, Shane Jones returns to Labour's front bench. Given that he has dodged two bullets in the last few years (inappropriate credit card spending and Bill Liu), we hope that David Shearer has reminded him of Labour's equivalent of the Three Strikes legislation.

So an apology for all your shrieking and sneaky innuendo and insinuation about how dodgy and corrupt Jones was isn't forthcoming, even though you were proved wrong? Too much to expect I guess.
Care to point out where I have called Shane Jones "corrupt" Edward? Even though you're out of here until April, I'll give you one shot.
In the meantime, read this:
Let's have a full inquiry, conducted perhaps by a retired High Court judge, with the power to subpoena witnesses. If Shane Jones is cleared and his decision is proved to have been made on solid grounds, then great; let's move on. But the Ingram V2.1 inquiry proposed by David Shearer is inadequate to clean up this mess.

The Auditor-General has been pretty critical of Shane Jones' processes, yet Shearer has rushed him back to Labour's front bench. Idiot/Savant's criticism of Jones and Labour is well founded.
"Care to point out where I have called Shane Jones "corrupt" Edward?"
Suggest you look up the words sneaky, innuendo and insinuation. Admit you were wrong and "let's move on".
Someone didn't really get this post.
Quite so Scrubone; Edward is ever so predictable. He did however manage not to mention Pansy Wong though.
But if Shearer wants a proven incompetent at #7 on his front bench, who are we to quibble?
Jones is cleared
Jones is cleared
Jones is cleared
Jones is cleared.
Egg. Face. Keeping Stock. All over.
Funny as hell.
"But if Shearer wants a proven incompetent at #7 on his front bench, who are we to quibble?"
Correct, you can't. Parata, McCully, Brownlee, Williamson, Tolley, Joyce.....
Just admit you were wrong and let's move on.
