Tweet of the Day - 20 June 2013

Duncan Garner hints at some fairly major issues within the Labour Party's inner circle, and the recall of a staff member who left a while back:

Garner is just about to go on air in his RadioLive programme. It could be interesting listening this afternoon.

The suggestion that Shearer may have been economical with the truth over the SkyCity corporate junket by his MP's could be especially damaging to his credibility.

Labour's strategic direction may be in tatters but is going back to previous tatters going to solve much?

National's performance this year has hardly been glowing. Fumble after fumble, Key has also lost control of his ministers to a large extent.

I suppose you agree or not, Inv.

Dave.

Yes, it looks as though Fran is back back she is the only person DS can really trust. He really wants Mike Munro to join his team (probably to replace Cameron - who really works for Roberston) by Mike has been most reluctant.

And with the truth about the MFAT paper theft soon to be revealed there is a real criss atmosphere in room 3.014.

If anything Dave, I think that Key has run a tighter ship this year than 2012. Most of the issues troubling the Nats are historic ones rather than new issues. That the economy is recording is a big help.

And all the while, Labour might have a wee problem going on in the Court of Appeal.
